Table Mountain Casino Welcomes Legendary Rock Band, Counting Crows

FRIANT, Calif., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The Table Mountain Casino Event Center will be rocking on Sunday, July 19th with the much anticipated performance from the California-grown rock band, Counting Crows who became known for their up-tempo, 1993 hit single, "Mr. Jones" from their debut album release, August and Everything After. Since then, the group has stayed on the music charts with eight Top 5 singles, three records breaking Top 5 on Billboard 200 and selling over 20,000,000 recordings worldwide.

The band hails from the San Francisco Bay area. Counting Crows consists of Adam Duritz (vocals), David Bryson (guitar), Charles Gillingham (keyboards), Dan Vickrey (guitar), Jim Bogios (drums), David Immergluck (guitar) and touring bassist Millard Powers. The band's most recent accomplishments include a # 1 hit with the song "Accidentally in Love," which was featured on the Shrek 2 soundtrack, as well as nominations in 2005 for a Grammy Award, a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award for the track.

Counting Crows latest album release, Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings is divided into two sides of sound. The Saturday Nights side is rock music, where the Sunday Morning side is acoustic and folk-inspired.
