Brodeur Partners Wins Five IABC Phoenix Copper Quill Awards

Agency’s talented Arizona team recognized for excellence in communications

PHOENIX, June 3 /PRNewswire/ — Brodeur Partners, an Omnicom-owned strategic communications firm (NYSE: OMC), earned five Copper Quill awards from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Phoenix Chapter, in recognition of its expertise in Communications Management. All five awards were for media relations activities in support of client programs, including:

  • Advent Solar – Award of Merit for the launch of Advent Solar(R) Ventura(TM) Technology, which was unveiled at the 2008 European Union Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference (EU PVSEC) in Valencia, Spain.

  • Avnet Electronics Marketing – Award of Excellence for supporting Avnet’s media relations activities at the 2008 Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Silicon Valley, the global electronics industry’s leading event.

  • Avnet, Inc. – Award of Excellence for a developing and executing a public relations campaign to promote Avnet’s CEO ringing the NYSE Closing Bell(R) live from Glendale, Ariz. to “kick-off” the Super Bowl XLII weekend.

  • Avnet Technology Solutions – Award of Excellence for a public relations program to raise awareness about Avnet HealthPath(TM), a market enablement and education program for Avnet’s value-added reseller partners.

  • Trimble Outdoors – Award of Excellence for a product reviews program to publicize the availability and convenience of using Trimble’s outdoor lifestyle applications on BlackBerry smart phones.
