Arizona State Credit Union Earns Multiple National and International Marketing Awards

PHOENIX, June 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- For the third consecutive year, Arizona State Credit Union receives multiple trophies from four elite marketing competitions, winning a total of ten awards.

The Credit Union has received four prestigious Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition honoring creative professionals who concept, write and design traditional and emerging media. In addition, Arizona State Credit Union was the only financial institution with an in-house creative team to win the highest honors of the Platinum Award.

The Credit Union won four awards including a Platinum Award for their 2007 Annual Report and a Gold Award for the HelpingAZ.com website - an innovative interactive site designed as a way to help Arizona State employees, university employees and others struggling from job loss. The site provides tips and resources to improve its members' financial situation. The Credit Union also received a Gold Award for their YourSavings Economic Stimulus newsprint ad and an honorable mention for the corresponding radio spot.

The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) recognized Arizona State Credit Union with a Diamond Award for the YourSavings, Mommy, Where do economic stimulus checks come from? print ad and a Merit Award for their 2007 Annual Report.

"The Mommy, where do economic stimulus checks come from? ad was part of a time sensitive campaign, as many financial institutions and retailers were all aiming to get to the consumer first," said Paul B. And the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) awarded Arizona State Credit Union with two awards - a gold for their 2008 Associate Event entitled "Exceed the Limit," and a silver for a radio spot supporting the YourSavings Economic Stimulus promotion.
