7.45M watch Tony Awards show

An estimated 7.45 million people tuned in to watch Sunday night's Tony Awards show broadcast live from New York, CBS said Monday.
The 63rd annual event honored the best of Broadway for the 2008-09 season and delivered the best ratings for the program since 2006, the network said.
Television star Neil Patrick Harris presided over the event, during which the musical Billy Elliot
and the play Gods of Carnage
earned top Tony honors.
