Plymouth Rock Studios Sponsors First Ever Producers Guild of America 'Produced by Conference'

PLYMOUTH, Mass., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Plymouth Rock Studios was the lead sponsor at the first Producers Guild of America "Produced by Conference" June 6th-7th at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA. The sold out two day conference was attended by producers and directors from the television, motion pictures and new media communities. The conference examined a broad range of entertainment issues, with guest speakers including James Cameron, Clint Eastwood, producers from Pixar and panels ranging from the "Future of 3D" to "Performance/Motion Capture Production Technology."

Plymouth Rock Studios, Executive VP of Studios Operations, Rae Ann Del Pozzo, introduced the panel, "How to save the Planet from Green Production," featuring the studios own CEO, Earl Lestz and moderator Arianna Huffington Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief, The Huffington Post. David Kirkpatrick, Plymouth Rock Studios, Chairman, took part in "The New Big Bang: Participant Content and The Future of Storytelling," with Frank Moss, Director of MIT Media Lab Center for Future Storytelling.

Marshall Herskovitz, President of the Producers Guild of America said, "David Kirkpatrick and his team from Plymouth Rock are now re-inventing the studio system, heading up what will become the first major studio facility on the East Coast since the earliest days of our industry. This past January, Plymouth Rock Studios also was the presenting partner at the 20th Annual Producers Guild of America Awards 2009 at the Hollywood Palladium, in Hollywood CA.
