DDC Names Two Veteran Advocacy Experts to Leadership Team

WASHINGTON, June 10 /PRNewswire/ — DDC, a leading issue advocacy firm, announced today that it has added Julie Cram and John Dunagan to key Senior Vice President roles. Cram, in her role as Senior Vice President for Strategic Development, will provide senior-level leadership and strategic counsel for DDC’s ever-growing client roster. Dunagan, as Senior Vice President for Program Development, will work with clients to craft long-term advocacy programs designed to win critical public policy debates.

Cram brings almost 20 years of strong communications and media affairs experience, including a decade of advocacy and strategic communications. Prior to joining DDC, she served in the White House as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Public Liaison, where she ran issue advocacy campaigns to support administration policies. Before the White House, Cram held various strategic communications positions including Director of Public Affairs for Burson-Marsteller, a worldwide public affairs and public relations firm, as well as senior leadership positions in two presidential campaigns.

Before joining DDC, Dunagan cofounded the advocacy firm CrossLink Strategy Group, where he served as a managing director for nearly five years. Prior to his tenure at CrossLink, Dunagan served as a vice president at both Edelman and Powell Tate. He also served as the Michigan Executive Director in the 2004 Bush presidential campaign.
