Aristotle Colleagues Named 2009 ‘Rising Stars in Politics’

Recognition from Campaigns and Elections’ Politics Magazine Continues Proud Tradition

WASHINGTON, June 11 /PRNewswire/ — Campaigns and Elections’ Politics magazine has announced that one current and one former Aristotle (www.aristotle.com) colleague have been named 2009 Rising Stars in Politics. Brian Williams, Vice President of Product Strategy and Design at Aristotle, and Aristotle alumna Jessica Grounds, Senior Vice President of Stone’s Phones, were named by the independent judges. The Rising Star award acknowledges outstanding political professionals under the age of 35.

A former staff member and adviser to several top political campaigns, Williams most recently served as an aide to the speaker of the US House of Representatives. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Political Science from the University of Central Florida.

Grounds, who worked at Aristotle at the start of her career, has since developed winning communications and message strategies for hundreds of democratic political campaigns. She is president of the Women Under Forty Political Action Committee.

His work in the 2004 Ukrainian ‘Orange Revolution’ for Aristotle earned him the award in 2005. All 2009 Rising Star winners will be honored at a special event during Campaigns and Elections’ The Art of Political Campaigning seminar on June 12 in Washington, DC.
