Named 2009 AIGA BoNE Show Winner for Website Design

BOSTON, June 12 /PRNewswire/ — One Pica, a total brand experience agency, was awarded one of only five website prizes out of 500 total entries and 49 winners at last night’s 2009 AIGA Best of New England (BoNE) Show ceremonies. The BoNE Show is held every two years to shine a light on the best design and communications talent in the North East.

One Pica was recognized for its work on the newly-launched nineteen47.com website, for premium sports headwear and apparel company Forty Seven. Formerly Twins Enterprise and Banner Supply, the company embarked on a total brand makeover in 2008 that included a name change, logo redesign and a new branded website to showcase their licensed products from MLB, the NHL, the NBA and over 450 college programs.

According to Gregory Segall, One Pica President, “Our goal for this website was to recreate the personal attachment fans have with their team and turn that into an experience that brings the products to life. We’re thrilled to be acknowledged for this work by the members of AIGA Boston, who are recognized thought-leaders in the New England design community.”

In June, One Pica will launch an e-commerce platform for the ’47 brand that extends the “authentic fan” experience throughout the entire shopping engagement in a new online store.
