Promoter suing Jackson over concert

Allgood Entertainment is suing U.S. pop star Michael Jackson for breach of contract in connection with a planned Jackson family reunion concert.
Britain's Daily Telegraph said the lawsuit claims Jackson's former manager, Frank DiLeo, promised promoter Allgood the singer would not perform elsewhere before this summer's family gig or for at least three months after it.
The company said Jackson violated the agreement by then signing up with AEG to perform a series of concerts in London starting in July, which may also include a pay-per-view event, the Telegraph noted.
We've given Michael Jackson and AEG every opportunity, publicly and privately, to resolve this matter and to date we have not heard from anyone,
Patrick Allocco, Allgood managing partner, told the newspaper.
What we're looking for is for our clients to be involved in the London concerts or be compensated for agreements they entered into,
Allgood attorney Ira Meyerowitz said.
