Illinois Employment Report: Employee Confidence Index Ticks Upward for Third Consecutive Month

Results from the
- Twenty percent of workers believe the economy is getting stronger, an increase of 10 percentage points from April.
- Fewer workers (53 percent) are confident in the future of their current employer, an 18-percentage-point decline from the previous month.
- Forty percent of workers say they are likely to look for a new job, an increase of 11 percentage points from April.
