Started in Flint, Mich., in 1969, Grand Funk has since had 19 charted singles and eight Top 40 hits. The band’s two No. One singles, “We’re An American Band” and “Locomotion,” have both sold more than one million copies each. In addition to the hit singles, Grand Funk has racked up 13 gold and 10 platinum records and sales in excess of 25 million copies worldwide.
