AVON, Ohio, June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Top 10 Couples in the 2009 Duck Tape(R) brand duct tape Stuck at Prom(R) Scholarship Contest have been named, so now it's the public's chance to vote for their favorite outfits to decide who gets the top $3,000 scholarship prize.

The contest challenges high school students to create their prom outfits with duct tape for the chance to win scholarships. More than 215 couples entered the contest, but only 10 couples were selected by judges to move on based on the originality, workmanship, use of color, use of accessories and amount of duct tape used to make their outfits.

During the two-week online voting period - June 19 through July 2 - the public can vote for their favorite couple at the Stuck at Prom site. Voting is limited to one vote per valid e-mail address per day.

The Top 10 Couples are:

• Amanda Mills, Hurst, Texas, and David Sandretto, North Richland Hills, Texas, Christian Home School Prom (Entry 36)
• Maris Blanchard and Zane Blanchard, Bixby, Okla., Bixby High School (Entry 87)
• Sarah Nedbalski, Brookpark, Ohio, and Connor Butler, Cleveland, Ohio, Berea High School (Entry 106)
• Ellie Ochart and Charlie Trenholm, Lake Arrowhead, Calif., Rim of the World High School (Entry 119)
• Joanna Cato and Jeremy Rand, Harrisburg, Pa., Susquehanna Township High School (Entry 128)
• Izzy Bristow, Golden, Colo., and John Dyer, Evergreen, Colo., Lakewood High School (Entry 179)
• Amie Gerodimos, Clearwater, Fla., and Tresson Canley, St. Petersburg, Fla., St. Petersburg Collegiate High School (Entry 232)
• Jordan Fauser and Matthew Caughman, Houston, Texas, Jersey Village High School (Entry 252)
• Charden Wood and Steven Quade, Kalispell, Mont., Flathead High School (Entry 295)

First place winners will each receive a $3,000 scholarship and $3,000 for the high school that hosted the prom. Second place winners will each receive $2,000 and $2,000 for their high school and third place winners will each receive $1,000 and $1,000 for their high school.

Winners will be announced around July 9.
