Maks and Karina head to Broadway

Dancing with the Stars veterans Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff have signed up to appear in the Broadway engagement of Burn the Floor.

Producers of the show described it as the Latin and ballroom dance spectacular that’s been setting stages ablaze around the globe.

Chmerkovskiy and Smirnoff are billed as special guest stars for the New York run of Burn.

‘Burn the Floor’ offers the rare opportunity to see Maks & Karina dance together live for the first three weeks of the 12-week Broadway engagement, kicking off the new Broadway season with previews July 25 and opening night Aug. 2 at the Longacre Theatre, the producers said in a release.
