ST. LOUIS, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- SYNERGY Productions LLC, a St. Louis-based strategic marketing company, will produce a series of high-profile events in St. Louis that will take place during the city's celebration of the 2009 Major League Baseball All Star Game. SYNERGY's signature events will be held from July 11-14, 2009 at some of downtown St. Louis' most prominent venues:

Baseball's home-run king and St. Louis native Ryan Howard will host a private party on the eve of the big game. In addition to being one of the most-talked about events of the week, this "party with a purpose" will raise funds for the newly launched Ryan Howard Family Foundation. The event will be held at Lumen Event Space (2201 Locust Street; www.lumenstl.com) on Monday, July 13 and will feature a special midnight performance by 2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee DMC of Run-DMC. Event sponsors include Palm, Subway, Powerade, Captain Morgan, and Hennessy.

Legendary St. Louis Cardinals broadcaster Mike Shannon will celebrate his 70th birthday on Sunday, July 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel (999 N 2nd Street; www.fourseasons.com/stlouis). The private party is expected to attract guests from the worlds of entertainment, sports, politics, and media and will feature specialty Crown Royal and Ketel One cocktails created by some of the city's finest restaurants.

Baseball Hall of Famers Bob Gibson and Bruce Sutter will host events where they will share their All-Star memories while interacting with fans. Bob Gibson's private cocktail reception will be held on Saturday, July 11 at Lumiere Place (999 N 2nd Street; www.lumiereplace.com). Bruce Sutter's "Brunch With Bruce" will be held at Lumen Event Space on Sunday, July 12 from 10AM-2PM - the brunch is open to the public and reservations can be made by calling 314-241-5757.

In addition to the above events, SYNERGY will host a great slate of bar and nightlife events. The private Red Bull House will be the hip late-night destination for VIPs, tastemakers, and athletes. Pepper Lounge, downtown's premier nightclub, will feature public events on Sunday and Monday nights with celebrity hosts and national DJ talent. The Outfield, one of the most popular ballpark bars, will welcome thousands of baseball fans before and after the Sunday-Tuesday events at Busch Stadium. The contemporary Red Bar and Grill will celebrate its opening in the newly-renovated Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront.

SYNERGY's All-Star events are presented by Diageo, the world's leading premium drinks business and home of brands such as Crown Royal and Captain Morgan. For additional information and the complete SYNERGY event schedule, please visit www.stlallstarweek.com.
