‘The Universal Properties of Acceleration’: Acceleration and Inertia Are the Same Everywhere

June 23, 2009

GARDINER, N.Y., June 23 /PRNewswire/ — “The Universal Properties of Acceleration: Did Einstein Look the Wrong Way?” (published by AuthorHouse) is about gravity. Author Barry Lebost proposes a new law in physics stating “that all acceleration and its intimate partner inertia have the same general properties everywhere in the universe including the surfaces of planets and stars.”

Lebost demonstrates that when universal property tests are performed upon the surface of planet Earth, the test results indicate that the surface of the planet is accelerating into space and objects that appear to be accelerating downward are actually in velocity, not acceleration. Gravity acts exactly the same as inertia, being a non-magnetic attractive force working the same way as it does when we get pushed back into our car seats while accelerating.

Lebost has identified an invisible dual reference frame of accelerated expansion (inflation) that explains how and why gravity occurs. This inflation also causes the same bending of space time that Einstein calculated. However, the resulting simplification in the laws of physics points to a more elaborate mechanism that drives the physical universe.

“The decade I have been working on this project has brought about many changes in the world we live in. The advent of a black president has demonstrated that the American people, and perhaps the peoples of the world, are ready for new ideas. The past hundred years have seen general relativity as the main source of information about gravity with the principle of equivalence as its cornerstone. It is my main hope with the publishing of this book that equivalence falls into the category of ‘questionable’ and that ‘The Universal Properties of Acceleration’ ushers in a new age of reasoning.”

About the Author:

Though he worked most of his career as an IT specialist, from 1975 to 1981, Barry Lebost focused upon wind energy and its use as an alternative to fossil fuels. He invented, constructed and installed the Lebost Wind Turbine on a New York University rooftop in the West Village section of lower Manhattan. He was supported in this project by NYU, musician and environmentalist John Denver and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Lebost and NYU demonstrated how wind could be directly converted into heat in an urban environment as a supplementary alternative to the combustion of fossil fuels. He worked on developing “The Universal Properties of Acceleration” for the last 10 years.

Today Barry Lebost is working on the construction of a micro hydroelectric plant in the Shawangunk mountains of New York that utilizes a gravity-generated water supply. He has also invented an extremely simple and inexpensive device to eliminate generations of mosquitoes and reduce the incidence of malaria for which he has a patent pending and intends to license.
