Snow Patrol announces fall U.S. tour

The rock band Snow Patrol has announced plans for a North American fall headline concert tour, starting Sept. 10 in St. Paul, Minn.
The tour will include stops in Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Columbus, Kansas City, Mo., Indianapolis, Nashville, Atlanta, Houston, Austin, Texas, Dallas, Salt Lake City, Boise, Portland, Ore., Seattle, Oakland, Calif., and San Diego. The series of gigs is to wrap in Los Angeles Oct. 20, Interscope Geffen A&M said in a news release Monday.
The band, which features members from Northern Ireland and Scotland, is currently on the road with Coldplay and will also support U2 on its 360 Degree Tour this fall.
