The David Mamet play Oleanna,
starring Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles, is Broadway-bound after its Los Angeles run, Variety reported Tuesday.
The show business publication said the Mamet play, which was first performed in 1992, would take up residence Oct. 11 at the Golden Theater in New York, whose current show, the musical Avenue Q,
recently announced a Sept. 13 closing.
Oleanna
is now running at the Center Theater Group in Los Angeles, where it plays through July 12. In the play, Pullman portrays a university professor who clashes with his female student, played by Stiles, while Doug Hughes (Doubt

Variety said Pullman has not appeared on Broadway since he starred in The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?
