Police search Jackson doctor's office

Posted on: Wednesday, 22 July 2009, 12:02 CDT

Police Wednesday searched the Houston office of Michael Jackson's last doctor, the Drug Enforcement Administration confirmed.

CNN reported the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and Los Angeles police executed a search warrant at the office of Dr. Conrad Murray, who was with Jackson when the singer collapsed and died June 25.

An autopsy indicated Jackson had the powerful drug Propofol in his system, E! News reported, although the official cause of death is still under investigation. The drug is administered intravenously and puts people in a near-comatose state.

Police have not said who administered the Propofol to Jackson.

The Los Angeles Times reported police already have interviewed Murray twice and were seeking a third question and answer session, along with additional medical records.

Murray discovered Jackson's body and performed CPR until paramedics arrived at Jackson's Los Angeles home. Murray has said through his lawyer he did not administer narcotics to Jackson, the Times said.
