We were on the cusp of blowing up when we were ‘Brooklyn Zoo.’ Then the Feds came in and sent half the crew to prison. The whole time I was there, I could visualize all of this success and knew it was meant to be. The streets recognize real, the streets recognize hot music, music from the soul.”
