FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Guests are invited to swing, dance, and sway to the sounds of Ellington, Basie, James and Miller as performed by the 15-piece Les DeMerle Orchestra while enjoying the balmy breezes of Caribbean ports onboard MSC Poesia for her 10-night, December 10, 2009 and 7-night, February 27, 2010 Big Band Caribbean cruises.
Vocalist Bonnie Eisele and the 15-piece Les DeMerle Orchestra will have guests dancing and singing to the biggest Broadway hits, rock-and-roll classics, hot Latin grooves, and show-stoppers from the '40s through today. In addition to their regular appearances, the band performs a Big Band Jazz Concert and conducts a lecture on the Big Band Era.
The "Remarkable Rainforests and The Panama Canal" 10-night Caribbean itinerary for this unique Big Band Music theme cruise sails roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale on December 10, 2009 and calls at ports in Georgetown, Grand Cayman; Cartagena, Colombia; Cristobal, Panama; Puerto Limon, Costa Rica; and Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
Caribbean destinations on the "Island Treasures and Ancient Temples" 7-night cruise, sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale on February 27, 2010 include Key West, Florida; Playa del Carmen, Mexico; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; Montego Bay, Jamaica; and Nassau, Bahamas.
Cruise-only rates including all of the Big Band performances, Jazz Concert, and lecture begin at $569 for the 7-night and $749 for the 10-night. Rates are per person, double occupancy; government fees and taxes are additional.
