July 29, 2009
Demi Lovato’s Here We Go Again
is No. 1 on the U.S. album chart this week, Billboard.com reported Wednesday.
Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 is Daughtry’s Leave This Town,
followed by Maxwell’s BLACKsummers’night
at No. 3, the compilation CD Now 31
at No. 4 and the Hannah Montana 3
TV soundtrack at No. 5.
Rounding out the top tier are the Black Eyed Peas’s The E.N.D.
at No. 6, Jordin Sparks’s Battlefield
at No. 7, Kings of Leon’s Only By the Night
at No. 8, Taylor Swift’s Fearless
at No. 9 and Lady GaGa’s The Fame
at No. 10.
The late Michael Jackson’s 2003 hits collection Number Ones
sold the most copies for the week — 154,000, but was not eligible for ranking on the Billboard 200 because it was an older release, the magazine said.
