Rep denies Barton attempted suicide
Mischa Barton’s publicist has denied a report claiming the British actress was hospitalized recently because she attempted suicide.
She tried to kill herself,
a source described as close to the former The O.C.
actress told E! News, adding Barton had been fired, then later rehired for the upcoming TV drama series The Beautiful Life.
She was being crazy that day,
another insider said of the day Barton went to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where she was reportedly placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold for undisclosed reasons.
However, Barton’s representative has denied the allegation the actress tried to kill herself.
