Happy Birthday Mr. Obama, from Quebec City, Canada

QUEBEC CITY, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ - A Gala Americain was held on June 19 as part of the Quebec City comedy festival Festival Grand Rire de Quebec. In his insightful performance, comedian Martin Petit examined how our neighbors to the south influence our customs and culture. Day in and day out, at work, at play, watching TV, and so on, we're exposed to U.S. culture, which makes an indelible mark on our own. As a result, America is part of our cultural fabric, and since Barack Obama took office, it's a whole lot easier to be proud of that. That's the idea that Martin Petit wanted to convey in his performance.
