Officials expand probe of Jackson's doctor

Law enforcement raided a Las Vegas pharmacy Tuesday, looking for possible evidence against pop star Michael Jackson's personal physician, ABC News reported.

Federal Drug Enforcement Administration agents and Los Angeles Police Department investigators also were involved in the investigation, which includes an audit of the pharmacy's inventory, and documents, records and other evidence.

Law enforcement officials told ABC News the warrants were issued for items of interest in a criminal investigation because evidence already obtained allegedly indicates Dr. Conrad Murray obtained regulated and unregulated drugs from Applied Pharmacy Services in Las Vegas.

Murray's actions just before and after Jackson's death June 25, as well as medications he may have prescribed, have been subject of a probe since shortly after it was started by Los Angeles police.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office said Monday it completed a detailed autopsy on the 50-year-old singer, but wouldn't release it to allow the police time complete their investigation, MTV.com reported.

The investigation was thorough and comprehensive, a coroner's official said. But to avoid interfering with the criminal probe by the police department, the office would honor the police request to put the results on a security hold.
