SEATTLE, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Worktank (http://www.worktankseattle.com), a full-service integrated advertising agency, announced that Inc. Magazine has ranked the company No. 2,028 nationally in its 2009 "Inc. 5000" ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The Inc. 5000 list takes a comprehensive look at the growth of America's independent entrepreneurs. This is Worktank's third consecutive year appearing in the top 50 percent of companies included on the list.
"Consistently being named one of Inc. Magazine's 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies is an honor, and it reinforces our dedication to delivering outstanding results and exceptional value to our clients," said Melinda Partin, Worktank CEO. "We're proud of the work we do, the clients we serve and the team at Worktank that makes us successful."
The 2009 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held as of December 31, 2008. Qualifying companies have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004 and $2 million in 2008. Complete Inc. 5000 results, including winning company profiles and a list that can be sorted by industry and region, is available at www.inc5000.com.
Worktank will add the Inc. 5000 recognition to its growing list of recent awards and honors. In July, the company was awarded the 2009 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility. This national award recognizes companies that demonstrate flexibility in achieving goals for individual employees and the business as a whole. Finalists are selected from the top 20 percent of applicants, and the selection process combines responses from the employer and employees.
In addition, Worktank received two Videographer Awards of Excellence for Windows Live Wave 3 and HTC Shift and an Award of Distinction for work on the Microsoft Imagine Cup Embedded Development 2009.
"We're excited and proud that our peers find our campaigns above industry standards and worthy of industry recognition," Partin said.
