Lewis Black booked for ‘Big Bang’ gig
U.S. comedian, actor and author Lewis Black has signed on to be a guest star this fall in
The Big Bang Theory, CBS announced.
Black is slated to appear in the season’s second episode as a
brilliant but troubled professor of entomology who works at Caltech with the guys, the network said.
The stand-up comedian and author is also a popular contributor to
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and recently appeared in the feature films
Man of the Year,
Farce of the Penguins.
The Big Bang Theory, a sit-com starring Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar, is to begin its third season Sept. 21.
