R. Kelly to release 10th studio album
U.S. recording artist R. Kelly will release
Untitled, his 10th studio album, Oct. 13, Jive Records announced Wednesday.
The Grammy Award-winning R&B singer, who was acquitted last year of child pornography charges dating back to 2002 also is to begin a U.S. concert tour titled
Ladies Make Some Noise! Oct. 8 in Mashantucket, Conn.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale Saturday.
On ‘Untitled,’ R. Kelly returns to the streets and delivers an album with a renewed energy and enthusiasm, his record label said in a release.
Creatively, he collaborates with a new crew of up-and-coming producers, including Infinity, Lil Ronnie, Chris Henderson and, in a break from almost exclusively recording in Chicago, Kelly recorded some of the material in Atlanta.
I wanted to go back to the streets and connect directly to my fans. The love I have received is amazing and this is for them, Kelly said in a statement.
