ST. GEORGE’S, Bermuda, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ — Jim Kerwin of Rock Media, Ltd. launched Bermuda’s newest travel publication, It’s A Bermudaful Day, at an event held last night at LV’s Piano Jazz Lounge in Hamilton.

It’s A Bermudaful Day is a celebration of the unique and vibrant spirit of the Island. It features insider perspectives on local restaurants, gallery exhibitions, sporting events, tourist attractions, and magnificent images of Bermuda. It’s A Bermudaful Day highlights the Island’s special events, concerts, and authentic cultural activities. In addition, Bermuda’s amateur photographers may submit their shots and, if selected, will have them published. The publication was created to promote tourism and to build a bridge between the visitors to the Island and its businesses.

Jim Kerwin hosted members of the media, business executives and business owners at LV’s Piano Jazz Lounge to debut the magazine’s premier October issue. Prototypes of It’s A Bermudaful Day were available for the guests. Said Kerwin, “It’s A Bermudaful Day provides an exceptional editorial environment in which to showcase our advertisers’ messages. It is truly is a wonderful medium for the businesses in Bermuda to connect with visitors and residents alike.”

It’s A Bermudaful Day will be published six times per year: May, June, July, August, September and October. The launch issue is slated for October, 2009. Everything about the magazine speaks to exceptional quality, from the oversized user-friendly format to the glossy, premium paper on which it’s printed. The magazine will have a circulation of 40,000 and will be distributed at Bermuda’s most highly-trafficked tourist and transportation points, including: L.F. Wade International Airport, the cruise ports in St. George’s and Hamilton, the King’s and Heritage Wharfs at the Royal Naval Dockyard in Somerset and selected restaurants and hotels in Bermuda.
