'All Star Planet Finals and Gala Celebration' Salutes Winners of Nationwide Singing Competition to Benefit National Charities

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- All Star Planet (www.allstarplanet.com) will host the winners of their online talent competition on August 26 in Los Angeles. The event, "All Star Planet Finals and Gala Celebration" is the culmination of a nationwide talent competition that encourages young people ages 7 - 14 to make a difference by showcasing their singing and songwriting talents to support their favorite charities.
The finalists will perform their winning songs at the gala as well as the All Star Planet theme song, "All Star Planet Rocks," written by Susan Kay Greenberg with music by Rick Moncada and Carlos Murguia. Each finalist will receive the grand prize to record a song for a compilation CD produced by Grammy award-winning producer Bob Cutarella on Planet Rock Records. Proceeds from the sale of the recording will be donated to their designated charity. All Star Planet online hosts Diego Murguia and Chloe J will also be featured on the CD along with reality competition star Ciana.
Competition finalists will support the following charities: Elevate Hope Foundation; Make-A-Wish Foundation; The American Red Cross; Feed The Children; The Epilepsy Foundation; Starlight Children's Foundation; Habitat for Humanity; The Children's Miracle Network; The Humane Society; Muscular Dystrophy Foundation; Compassion International; and Generation Rescue. All Star Planet will also give recognition to the charities that the judges and hosts have chosen to support: Lollipops & Rainbows, Alex's Lemonade Stand and The Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation.
