About the Author

Harry Ernest Fitch is a native of Newark, Ohio, who graduated from Kent State University with a degree in journalism. He worked mostly as a journalist and public relations representative, and regional sales manager for a sporting goods firm before becoming a teacher. Having lived in a suburb south of Atlanta, Georgia, since 1978, he entered the teaching profession in 1991. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Fitch worked as a reporter for The Canton, Ohio, Repository and the Arizona Republic newspapers. "The Number Two Pencil Solution" is Fitch's second novel. His first, "Common Ground," was published through iUniverse in 2001.
