Two Attensity Group Products Named 2009 KMWorld Trend-Setters

Posted on: Monday, 24 August 2009, 07:00 CDT

PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Attensity(TM) Group, the leader in business user applications that generate value from unstructured data, today announced that two of its solutions have been named to KMWorld's list of Trend-Setting Products. Attensity Group's Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Research & Discovery have been selected for this esteemed list, which appears in the September 2009 issue of the print magazine, as well as online at http://www.kmworld.com.

This year, KMWorld's judging panel of editorial staff, analysts, system integrators, vendors, line-of-business managers and end-users assessed more than 800 products. Both Attensity Group (http://www.attensity.com/en/index.php) solutions were selected for their ability to provide premium solutions to a diverse spectrum of consumers. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Attensity Group has made the list.

KMWorld editors selected Attensity Group's Voice of the Customer (http://www.attensity.com/en/Applications-and-Services/Applications/Voice-of-the-Customer/Voice-of-the-Customer.html) solution for its ability to extract valuable information from freeform text found in emails, web forums, surveys, CRM notes, and other customer conversations, and transform it into structured, actionable First Person Intelligence(TM). It gleans insight into customer satisfaction, sentiment and loyalty, and reveals product issues and trends. Attensity VoC enables organizations to view all of their data, from both structured and unstructured sources, affording them more comprehensive information for real-time analysis and decision-making.

Empolis, Attensity Group's go-to-market entity in the EMEA region, also secured a spot on the list for its Research & Discovery (http://www.empolis.com/applications-services/applications/e-discovery-information-access.html) application. This web-based portal application empowers analysts and researchers to access critical business information from both inside and outside the company efficiently and easily. Driven by sophisticated Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology, the Research & Discovery application enables users to better search, retrieve and collaborate on valuable information. It transforms information into an enterprise asset that lowers discovery and research costs, while also decreasing enterprise risk.

"We are excited and gratified to have two Attensity Group products on the prestigious KMWorld list of Trend-Setters this year," stated Ian Bonner, president and chief executive officer of Attensity Group. "Our success in winning these awards is the direct result of listening to our customers and delivering innovative products that reflect the changing business intelligence landscape."

The products selected for this year's list of KMWorld Trend-Setters all demonstrate clearly identifiable technology breakthroughs that serve the vendors' constituencies, especially their customers. A full list of past Trend-Setters is viewable in archived issues online at http://www.kmworld.com/Archives/. Attensity and Empolis are also among KMWorld's 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management for 2009.
