Data Domain DD690 System Named to Business Solutions Magazine's Best Channel Product List 2009

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Data Domain, an EMC (NYSE: EMC) company and the leading provider of deduplication storage systems, today announced that the Data Domain DD690 system has been recognized by Business Solutions Magazine as one of the best channel products for 2009. The award recognizes the DD690 system's reliability, ease of integration and rich feature-set.

The DD690 enables resellers to provide enterprise customers that have growing data backup, archive and disaster recovery needs with a high performance and efficient deduplication storage solution. The DD690 system offers an aggregate throughput up to 2.7 terabytes/hour, and up to 1.77 petabytes of logical capacity.

The survey included questions on the reliability of the products, the richness of feature-sets and functionality, ease of integration and the VAR's ability to support and service. The top 15 percent of vendors in each technology category surveyed were selected as Best Channel Products.
