United Football League Announces Partnership With ANC Sports
RUTHERFORD, N.J., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ — The United Football League today announced a partnership with ANC Sports Enterprises that will revolutionize the way professional football is presented through the utilization of a state-of-the-art field-level perimeter signage system.
ANC will set up, operate and produce content for over 456 feet of field level Mitsubishi’s Diamond Vision(TM) LED signage for the UFL’s nationally televised broadcasts on VERSUS during the League’s “Premiere” season. The signage system will be operated through ANC’s patent-pending VisionSOFT(TM) operating system and be capable of displaying full motion video and other dynamic content.
The UFL will utilize the signage to display real-time statistics, highlights, sponsor acknowledgements, team animations, stadium and television audience interaction, and much more. ANC introduced the company’s field-level perimeter LED signage system during Major League Soccer’s opening game this season at Qwest Field, home of the Seattle Sounders FC.
“In addition to providing quality football at affordable prices, the UFL is trying to transform how the game is presented,” said Frank Vuono, COO of the UFL. “By employing ANC’s LED technology in professional football at field level, we have endless opportunities to provide added value to our sponsors. We can also provide a constant stream of information to our fans while not detracting from the action on the field.”
“We are excited to partner with the UFL to help create an entertaining atmosphere for both television viewers and attending fans,” said Jerome Cifarelli, President & CEO of ANC Sports Enterprises. “Our new perimeter signage system offers dynamic visual opportunities through full motion video and animations in between live plays, while creating sponsor activation programs such as aligning specific statistics with corporate partners in the background of the game action.”
The United Football League is a new professional football league that will kick-off its “Premiere” season this October. Featuring high-quality traditional football played by world-class athletes and former NFL coaches, the UFL’s “Premiere” season teams include the California Redwoods, Florida Tuskers, Las Vegas Locomotives and New York Sentinels. The UFL’s goal is to provide fans with affordable, innovative and entertaining game-day experiences. The UFL’s games, which will be broadcast live on VERSUS and HDNet, will culminate with a Championship Game on November 27th in Las Vegas. Tickets are now on-sale in all markets and can be purchased by calling 877.UFL.2009 or visiting www.ufl-football.com.
