Cellufun Creates Virtual Clothing Line for Project Runway Finalist Jillian Lewis

Posted on: Tuesday, 8 September 2009, 09:55 CDT

NEW YORK, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Cellufun, the mobile virtual community known as "The World's Mobile Playground," announced today that they have created a virtual Fashion Week pop-up store featuring designs from Jillian Lewis' Spring 2010 collection. Cellufun debuted Ms. Lewis' new line on Friday, September 4th, a few days prior to her fashion show in Manhattan on September 9th. Users will be able to purchase pieces from Jillian's new line for 100-300 FunCoins ($1.00-$3.00). Jillian Lewis, a finalist in Project Runway Season Four, is a critically acclaimed designer whose pieces have been worn by countless A-list celebrities.

"Jillian's decision to preview her designs on a mobile platform shows tremendous awareness of how women use technology. They don't want to be tethered to their PC's, and rely on their phones more than ever for access to all kinds of content," said Neil Edwards, CEO of Cellufun. "We are thrilled to host the first ever virtual world debut of a new designer line, and look forward to being part of Fashion Week," he added.

Cellufun's Fashion Week pop-up store will also feature products from the Cygalle Healing Spa, a luxury holistic spa founded by Cygalle Dias. Cellufun users who purchase The Raspberry Q10 Moisturizer or the Rice Peptide Anti-Aging Serum for their avatars will get bonus points in the Strut Your Stuff game. Cygalle Healing Spa is handling the pre-runway skin treatment for designer Charlotte Ronson's models before her September 11th fashion show. In addition to working with Ms. Ronson, the Cygalle Healing Spa's holistic product line has many A-list fans, such as Carmen Electra and Rosario Dawson. Cellufun's two million registered users will receive an exclusive 25% discount off of Cygalle Healing Spa products. Products in Cellufun's virtual Fashion Week store is now available through Wednesday, September 30th.

"I am honored that Cellufun chose me to debut my new collection on their virtual world," said Jillian Lewis. "This is a fantastic way for me to get my line in front of women all over the world. Cellufun can reach women on their mobile phones no matter where they are, and not many companies can do that," she added.

"I am very excited to partner with Cellufun and be on the cutting edge of virtual technology," said Cygalle Dias. "This is an innovative way to market my products to millions of Cellufun users."
