Katherine Jackson is against the tribute concert being planned in her late son Michael Jackson’s honor in Vienna, sources told TMZ.

Michael’s brother Jermaine is co-producing the event and intends to sing at the Sept. 26 show.

However, insiders told the entertainment news Web site no other family members will attend or perform in Vienna because they, like Katherine, think the show’s a bad idea since Michael had no special connection to Austria.

One relative called the concert The Jermaine Jackson Show, insisting Jermaine is thinking only of himself and not what his family wants.

Jermaine announced Tuesday during a press conference in Vienna that Akon, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Sister Sledge and Natalie Cole are to perform at the upcoming gig. Jermaine said other artists would be added to the lineup later in the week. The event is expected to attract about 65,000 fans.

Michael Jackson died June 25 at the age of 50. His death has been declared a homicide after lethal levels of the anesthesia propofol were found in his system. Conrad Murray, the doctor who administered the drug to Jackson, is under investigation, but no charges have been brought against him.
