A court in California ordered a man to jail for 15 days for assaulting a hospital security guard while following TV personality Ryan Seacrest to his car.
E! Online reported Friday in addition to his jail sentence, Chidi Uzomah was sentenced to three years of probation for fighting with the security guard at Children's Hospital of Orange County.
Uzomah, whose age was not reported, will be credited for the four days he spent in jail after his arrest.
The autograph seeker pleaded guilty to charges of misdemeanor assault and battery and possession of a switchblade in connection with Tuesday's incident.
E! Online said after getting Seacrest's autograph following an appearance at the hospital, Uzomah tried to follow the American Idol
host to his car.
After police arrived on scene and ended the fight between Uzomah and the unidentified security guard, officers found a switchblade on Uzomah.
