KnowledgeBase Marketing Partners With UAA Clearinghouse to Expand Its Address Hygiene Service

OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ — UAA Clearinghouse® announced today that it has partnered with KnowledgeBase Marketing® to help clients minimize undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA) mail and reduce mailing costs.

UAA Clearinghouse receives data on undeliverable-as-addressed mail for over 350 million consumer mailings per month covering 70+ million households. These records are reported by the United States Postal Service® (USPS®) through its ACS service to multiple mailers, who in turn contribute this data to UAA Clearinghouse’s Suppression database. UAA Clearinghouse is the only compiler of USPS-reported ACS undeliverable mail from multiple mailers.

In addition to ACS undeliverable mail, UAA Clearinghouse also receives self-reported consumer change-of-address records from over 100 companies. Updates are received weekly and incorporated into UAA Clearinghouse’s Redirect database.

KnowledgeBase Marketing has incorporated the UAA Suppression(SM) and UAA Re-Direct(SM) databases into its DirectSuccess(SM) suite of address hygiene services. The company uses this data to eliminate undeliverable mail prior to print, so their clients save on postage and production. The UAA data includes Nixie codes identifying the reason the mail piece was returned; and a counter indicating the number of times a record has been received. KnowledgeBase Marketing receives new suppression and redirect database updates weekly.
