Author Solutions Launches Initiative to Become the World's Largest Publisher of Original Digital Content

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Author Solutions (ASI), the world leader in indie book publishing -- the fastest-growing segment of book publishing -- announced an initiative today to become the world's largest publisher and marketer of original digital content.

ASI has begun launching alliances with industry-leading digital content portals, giving its titles widespread digital availability. In the process, ASI will produce digital versions of all new titles it publishes, convert thousands from its backlist, and make them available through several popular e-readers and e-channels to readers worldwide.

Last week, ASI announced in the coming months it will begin making thousands of titles available through Sony's e-Book Store.
