WADL-TV 38 Will Begin Live Debate Series for 'The Detroit City Council' Thursday October 15th 8PM In the Grand Ballroom of Greentown Casino-Hotel

DETROIT, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- WADL TV 38 will remain true to its promise to provide Detroiters with open informed and uncompromised political debate series. Eighteen candidates have been voted by Detroiters as the most feasible candidates to lead the city of Detroit towards restoration.

On Thursday October 15th, 2009, WADL will begin a three part debate series. The first live debate will be moderated by veteran 2-time Emmy Award Winning broadcast journalist Charlene Mitchell. The panelist will be Detroit News Editorial Editor Nolan Finley, and Detroit Free Press Editorial and Opinion Editor, Stephen Henderson. The candidates schedule for debate is incumbent Kenneth Cockrel City Council President, James Edward Tate Jr., Lisa Howze, Shelly Foy, Saunteel Jenkins and Fred Hall.
The live debate will be televised in its entirety, commercial free on WADL TV38 October 15th at 8PM.
