eXelate Launches First Targeting Data Management Platform for Publishers Enabling Easy Audience Monetization and Management

NEW YORK, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- eXelate, the first and largest open marketplace for online targeting data, announced today that they have launched teXi:DM, the first toolset that empowers publishers to take back control of their audience data management and monetization efforts.
teXi:DM empowers publishers to manage 3rd party data cookies in the same manner they would their media. Publishers can now easily set up and price "data campaigns," traffic the data pixels and report on delivery in a simple to use interface. Additionally, teXi:DM allows publishers to track and manage pixel latency and centralize consumer privacy functions - an increasingly important factor in today's privacy sensitive online environment.
Leading online publishers will engage the platform to help them better control 3rd party access to their audience data as well as generate a new revenue stream.
"As a publisher in today's aggressive online marketing world, it has become evident that we need to take back control of how audience data is being bought and sold on our websites. Additionally, we have to deal with consumer privacy issues in a consistent manner. eXelate's teXi:DM toolset will give publishers the ability to do all of this - essentially providing them with the power to build and maintain their own data business - under their own terms," said Peter Chen, VP Sales Operations and Solutions for Interactive One, the largest, most active digital African-American publisher network.
"The launch of teXi:DM has the potential to alter the entire data ecosystem. By putting the power to easily develop direct data sales into the hands of publishers, the current clunky system of one off targeting data deals with borderline privacy considerations and latency controls is destined to disappear. More data will be available to more buyers in a privacy safe manner creating better targeting options for advertisers and more money for publishers," noted Meir Zohar, eXelate CEO.
Publishers who use teXi:DM instantly generate new revenue from their audience data as they become members of the eXelate Targeting eXchange, which delivers numerous new data buyers in addition to any data buying relationships that the publisher may create on their own.
teXi:DM will help move audience data sales into the mainstream, generating new revenue for publishers at a time when they genuinely need some good news.
"The launch of teXi:DM is a huge step forward for Publishers in their ability to begin to monetize their audience data in a controlled fashion. The manual process of pulling up and down data tags, worrying about pixel latency and having to contend with multiple user privacy protocols is eliminated with our new publisher platform. Publishers can now look at cookie data as a manageable revenue stream on par with media - and eventually just as lucrative," stated Mark Zagorski, Chief Revenue Officer of eXelate.
eXelate will be giving demos of teXi:DM at the DPAC4 Event on October 27th, in New York City.
