SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Salesify Inc, a demand generation services company based in Sunnyvale, CA, was ranked number 26 out of 70 companies on the Business Journal's list of the fastest growing private companies in Silicon Valley for 2009.
Salesify, along with the 69 other private companies, was honored at the Business Journal's "Fastest Growing Private Companies in Silicon Valley" reception at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View on the evening of Thursday, October 8, 2009. Gurdeep Chimni, Salesify's CEO, and Oliver Deng, Salesify's CFO, were in attendance to accept the award.
The list of fastest growing private companies is compiled annually by the Business Journal. To be eligible, each company must be a privately held company as of fiscal year-end 2008, headquartered in the Silicon Valley and have at least a three year sales history. Final selection was based on revenue growth. Salesify reported more than 116% revenue growth over the past 3 years.
Salesify was founded in 2005 by three Silicon Valley veterans, Gurdeep Chimni, Raj Hajela and Oliver Deng. The three co-founders have a combined 50 years experience managing sales and sales operations. Salesify has a unique business model that allows the company to deliver high quality demand generation solutions at a reasonable cost. Salesify services include building customized B2B contact email lists, appointment setting and integrated lead generation programs, outsourced telesales, and CRM cleansing and appends.
Gurdeep Chimni, co-founder and CEO of Salesify, contributes the company's growth to the relevancy of their sales and marketing offerings and their focus on serving technology companies. Said Chimni, "Timing is everything, and the current market situation has generated an increased demand for our services. In addition, our focus on providing sales and marketing services to the tech vertical exclusively has resulted in us supporting some of the best known hardware, software, and service providers globally. Our ability to leverage global resources with the right experience, talent and language skills has proven critical to tech companies that must diversify their access to different markets."
In response to the award, Oliver Deng, co-founder and CFO of Salesify, said, "It's an honor for our team to be acknowledged by the Business Journal. It's a testament to our unique business model and the relevancy of our services that we were able to continue to accelerate growth even in the current economic climate. By offering high quality demand generation services at a reasonable cost, we were privileged to have been able to help our customers grow as well. In fact, we contributed to six of our customers having a successful exit in the last twelve months. We're looking forward to continued growth and success for our company and for our customers in the coming years."
