Motorola's LS3578 rugged bar code scanner, LS2208 general purpose bar code scanner and MC75 Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA) scored among the "best of the best" in their respective categories.
"Motorola prides itself on listening to and collaborating with our partners, and we are honored to be recognized by the channel industry for having three best-in-class products," said Janet Schijns, vice president of worldwide channels, distribution and alliances for Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Solutions division. "It is our goal to foster innovation by providing business tools that drive improved user and organizational efficiencies. We continually seek feedback from the channel community to achieve this, and being acknowledged by our partners, is truly a testament to our commitment to empower the channel."
The Best Channel Product winners were chosen via an online survey that asked participants to rate their vendors in seven categories including three product-related categories: Product Features, Product Reliability and Product Innovation. A total of 19,833 votes were cast by 2,186 verified BSM resellers, making it one of the largest surveys of its kind. The survey is comprised of vendors who scored highest in the product categories in BSM's Best Channel Products survey in January 2009.
