The DogCatemy audience of more than 500 guests, many with their dogs, were treated to a Dog Park theme and mingled amongst larger-than-life sized sculptures of steel cast dogs, the works of sculptor Dale Rogers. Also among the evening’s highlights was a performance by S-Curve Records artist, singer-songwriter Diane Birch. Dr. Jennifer Jablow, “Dentist to the Stars,” and Prince Lorenzo Borghese, reality show star and creator of luxury pet products, served as co-chairs of the event.

In addition, 25 stars of the fashion and jewelry design world created fabulous pet collars for the event’s online auction. The collars, of various styles, were donated by designers such as Betsey Johnson, Isaac Mizrahi, Byron Lars, March Bouwer, Nanette Lepore, Stephen Dweck, Christie Brinkley and others. Other offerings include lunch with Diane Neal of Law & Order: SVU; a tour of Sirius Radio studios and to sit in on a taping of Howard Stern’s “The Wrap-Up Show”; as well as a selection of beautiful jewelry, artwork, travel packages, and luxury pet items. Bidding remains open until November 12 at www.AnimalLeague.org.

The celebrities in attendance at the event created videos starring their pets, competing in five categories: Best In Show, Best Tail Waggin’ Comedy, Best Dogumentary, Best Pawformance, and Best Reel Life Tail.

Winners in each category received a crystal statuette depicting the DogCatemy Celebrity Gala dog and cat logo, and a crystal-encrusted Chien Coature collar for their pet. Taking the honors were:
