Centerplate Named Official Food Service Partner to the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding
STAMFORD, Conn., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ — Centerplate, the hospitality provider to North America’s premier ski resorts, convention and entertainment venues, announced today that it will serve the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding as the official food service partner, which includes providing all hospitality services for the teams’ social events during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Leveraging Centerplate’s expertise in ski resort hospitality, the new relationship will enable the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding to build visibility across Centerplate’s 16 ski resort partner venues with branded dining services, in-store team merchandise and select athlete appearances. In addition, Centerplate’s ski resort partner venues will gain exclusive access to these branded opportunities to drive attendance and generate incremental sales.
