American Vantage Companies Announces Border Grill Las Vegas Partner Competes on Bravo’s ‘Top Chef Masters’

LAS VEGAS, April 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — American Vantage Companies (“AVCS” or the “Company” // (Pink Sheets: AVCS) // www.americanvantage.com), today announced that Susan Feniger, a chef and equity partner in the Border Grill Las Vegas restaurant (“Border Grill”) will compete in Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters” which began on April 7, 2010. The Company holds a 49% equity interest in Border Grill which is located at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino (owned by MGM/Mirage) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ms. Feniger and her business partner, Mary Sue Milliken, hold a 51% equity interest in the Border Grill, are veterans of the Food Network TV series “Too Hot Tamales” and have also co-authored five books.

Ms. Feniger will compete with 21 “world-renowned” chefs for cash donations to their respective charity with Ms. Feniger competing for the Scleroderma Research Foundation (www.sclerodermaresearch.org).
