‘LIVE! with Regis and Kelly’ Announces ‘Coast to Coast Firehouse Cook-Off’
NEW YORK, May 5 /PRNewswire/ — Sound the alarms! Popular morning talk show “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” is looking for great firehouse dishes to serve up this summer during LIVE’s “Coast to Coast Firehouse Cook-Off.” Every year, “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” presents a weekly summer cooking segment. This year, LIVE has partnered with Bush’s Grillin’ Beans to give a special group of cooks their own showcase, as firefighters from all over America will have the chance to strut their culinary stuff on the show.
Are you a firefighter whose recipes get rave reviews in the firehouse? Or do you know a first-class firehouse cook? Recipes can be submitted on LIVE’s website, LiveRegisAndKelly.com. Starting the week of May 17, each week up to five finalists will be announced, and LIVE’s viewers will vote on which dish they’d like to see created on the show. After the votes are counted, the weekly winning recipe will be announced, and that firefighter will fly to New York to cook the dish on LIVE. At the end of the summer, the at-home viewers will vote on the two recipes and firefighters they’d like to see face off on the show in a final end-of-summer cook-off. The winning cook will take home $10,000 and have his or her recipe published in Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
By going online and voting for their favorite dishes all summer long, LIVE’s viewers will have the chance to be winners as well.
