Mr. O’Grady has over 20 years experience in retail and consumer marketing. During his 7 years with ADVO/Valassis, he held numerous leadership positions including Kroger Team Lead, Regional Sales Manager for the company’s highest revenue sales office and VP of Business Development. As Kroger Team Lead, he was responsible for negotiating the first national print distribution contract with Kroger. While at Catalina Marketing Corporation, Mr. O’Grady designed and executed targeted marketing programs for Winn-Dixie, Kroger, Jewel-Osco, Kimberly-Clark and General Mills. He built Catalina’s capability to execute chain specific promotions into a viable business through partnerships with General Mills and major grocers.
Most recently, Mr. O’Grady served critical roles at start-ups in the mobile marketing and the health care marketing industries. At Cellfire, he was responsible for the pioneering delivery of grocery coupons through a mobile phone with Kroger and Safeway. At Linkwell Health, he forged partnerships between manufacturers of better-for-you foods such as Campbell’s and health plans such Emblem and Blue Cross & Blue Shield, to improve the health of their members with diabetes and high cholesterol.
