Mount Airy Casino Resort Celebrates Historic Launch of Table Games July 13th

MOUNT POCONO, Pa., July 7 /PRNewswire/ — Mount Airy Casino Resort, the transformed destination raising the bar for resorts from Pennsylvania to Atlantic City today announced the grand opening to launch table games Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., pending approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. The public grand opening will kick-off with a ribbon cutting ceremony officially opening 74 table games in all. The main gaming floor will feature 46 tables including three craps, four roulette, and the rest a mixture of black jack and poker.

Mount Airy Casino Resort’s new Poker Room, located on the main floor near Gypsies Nightclub will include the following table games: Poker, “Let It Ride” Poker, Three Card Poker, Seven Card Stud, Texas Hold ‘em, Omaha, Pai Gow Poker and Midi and Mini Baccarat.

Tuesday July 13(th) Opening Day Festivities:

Lisa DeNaples, Mount Airy Casino Resort owner and Managing Trustee, and her father Louis DeNaples will have a ceremonial rolling of the first die on the floor to signal the start of table games at the resort following a welcoming address by Mount Airy President and CEO George Toth. Radio stations Q104.3, WKRZ and the Hawk will be doing live remotes from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and will hold contests for free concert tickets, Mount Airy merchandise and hotel packages.

New Asian Themed Room Features 17 Table Games:

Mount Airy Casino Resort’s new Asian themed gaming room is located adjacent to the buffet on the Monroe County Casino’s main floor in the space formerly occupied by Reggie’s Cafe. The completed Asian themed room will have 17 table games, including baccarat, Pai Gow tiles, poker and Blackjack and feature a new noodle bar at the adjacent buffet.

The new Asian player development team includes staff fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and 12 other dialects. Mount Airy officials have hired Asian table game dealers, supervisors, security and a marketing team. The addition of an Asian themed room will employ a total of 60 additional employees.
