Destiny Media Announces UK Integration With BBC Radio
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Destiny Media Technologies (OTC Bulletin Board: DSNY) is pleased to announce the completion of a successful integration of the Play MPE® secure media distribution service with BBC Radio’s internal distribution system.
The Play MPE® Encoder seamlessly simulates label customers’ normal Play MPE® workflow while communicating directly with BBC servers behind the scenes. This recent customization improves and automates a process that would otherwise take a lot of time and attention from label staff and allows them to select individual BBC radio recipients following the normal Play MPE® process. The project began last fall and is now live and in use, instantly adding over two hundred recipients at BBC Radio to the Play MPE® network.
Destiny CFO, Fred Vandenberg commented that “Integrating with BBC Radio is another layer in the foundation for establishing a global distribution system and a platform upon which revenue will continue to grow.”
This project follows a similar successful integration strategy in North America, where Play MPE® was previously integrated with existing internal networks at radio and satellite radio chains.
Steve Vestergaard, Destiny CEO added, “We are very pleased to have added another significant milestone to our network. As the only digital distribution solution connected directly with the BBC Radio, Play MPE® adds yet another significant advantage over competing offerings.”
