My Gym Takes ‘The Activators’ Nationwide

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ — My Gym Entertainment has launched their newly produced comedy show, The Activators, an interactive series for preschoolers – focused solely on physical fitness. Based on the 30-year success rate of the classes and programs from My Gym Children’s Fitness Center, which has over 200 locations in the United States and internationally, the show features exercises, games, sports, and dances that make fitness fun and accessible to all preschoolers, regardless of athletic ability. Created by screenwriter Gregg Lichtenstein, the show is on www.TheActivators.net with new installments rolling out over several weeks in September and October.

In addition to the web, The Activators can also be seen in an exclusive mobile video series (text ACTIVATORS to 21534), an obstacle course at the Westfield Topanga Mall (Canoga Park, CA) called “The Activator Challenge,” and live shows throughout southern California. Plans for a nationwide tour will be announced in the near future.

In an effort to encourage children to develop healthy habits, My Gym is utilizing their in-gym TV network to promote a nationwide campaign called “Be an Activator!” Parents can download the “Activator Pledge” and membership card for their children, and then receive a personal video from The Activators – a unique video message for every child.
